On a recent visit to John Wilkes Booth boyhood home in Bel Air, MD on April 23, 2017 I took this picture of the landing of the second floor stairwell. I thought nothing of it until after I returned home and realized that the beautiful sun shinning through the window was taken at 3:15 in the afternoon. Strange. History tells us that window and side of the house (where John kept his room faces east.) It is an extremely beautiful photo and lends itself to lots of interpretation. To me it says welcome!
